Make Flowers Out Of Tissue Gift Wrap

How do I Make Flowers Out of Tissue Gift Wrap?

Fresh flowers are lovely to look at and smell pleasing as well, but they can be expensive, especially when you consider that they don't last very long. Create your own less expensive and everlasting flowers with tissue paper for a centerpiece or just to place in a vase in your home. Tissue paper comes in several colors and designs, so flowers can match almost any decor.

Instructions

1. Fold a piece of tissue paper in half one way. Fold it in half again the other way.

2. Trace the bottom of the mason jar and the bottom of the baby jar onto the top layer of the folded paper next to each other.

3. Cut out the two stacks of circles.

4. Place the stack of smaller circles on top of the stack of larger circles.

5. Push one end of a green pipe cleaner through the center of the stack.

6. Fold over the top inch of the end of the pipe cleaner you pushed through the stack and push it back through the stack, right next to the first hole. Twist the pipe cleaner around the long end to give your flower a stem.

7. Begin to crumple each layer of the stack of circles, four small and four large, around the center where the stem is looped through. Continue until each layer is crumpled.

8. Spray the head of the flower with a light coat of spray adhesive and sprinkle it with fine glitter in a coordinating color.
