Bingo is a game that can be played for education or leisure. In educational settings, teachers can create bingo games that reflect themes currently being taught. Bingo also makes a great activity at birthday parties, bridal showers and holiday parties. Customized bingo game boards can be made for free on the Internet. Bingo game boards designed for specific occasions can be turned into party favors if you laminate them and add decorative items such as stickers.
Instructions
Free Customized Bingo Cards
1. Find a free bingo card printing website online. Three popular free bingo card printing websites are Print-Bingo, Teachnology and Apollo's Templates. Choose the site you wish to use.
2. Find the the link that reads "Custom bingo cards with your own word or phrase lists" or similar. Click that link. On the next page, select the link that allows you to create customized bingo cards.
3. Select "Free" or "Not Free" to customize the center square.
4. Select a word placement preference from the section labeled "Word Lists." Your selection will determine how the words in your list are generated and displayed on the bingo cards.
5. Select a text size from the "Text Size" menu. You will also have the option to adjust the font size for longer words or phrases.
6. Select the number of bingo cards you want to print on a single page. Use the menu that allows you to choose the card size.
7. Delete the column headers and insert your own if you want the game card to have a heading other than BINGO. Enter one letter per box.
8. Type at least 24 words or phrases into each text box in the "Word Lists" section. Type at least 25 words or phrases in each text box if you did not make the center square a free square.
9. Click "Submit," then print your bingo card on computer paper or card stock.

10. Find downloadable bingo software for purchase online such as Bingo Card Printer or The Bingo Maker.
11. Download the bingo card maker software to your computer.
12. Select a new or blank template to create a new bingo card.
13. Edit the header and free space. You can change the header to any word you like other than "Bingo." Select a new font or color choice. The same options are available for the free space square.
14. Type or load your word list. Customize how you want the words to show on the bingo card. Customizable text features include editing the text color and font.
15. Select the size of the bingo card. You will have the option of a 3-by-3, 5-by-5 or 7-by-7 grid.
16. Print the bingo card on computer paper or card stock.
