Kee you child entertained with your homemade coloring book.
Creating your own coloring book is a cost-effective way to entertain your child. You can make your book to include pictures and scenes that match your child's interests, such as animals or sports themes. The easiest way to complete the task is to make your own homemade book without the hassle of setting up a printer. Plus, your book will be personalized with your own drawing attempts.
Instructions
1. Flick through magazines and find shapes, pictures and people that you would like to include in the coloring book. Mark these pages with a dot using the black marker pen to remember where they are.
2. Use the pencil to copy the outline of the shapes onto sheets of white paper. Fill each page with one large image, but create plenty of different zones to color in. For example, if you draw a shirt, outline the fabric pattern, buttons, and tie for coloring in.
3. Rub out lines if you make mistakes or to change the shape of the image. Then, when you are happy with each page, go over the pencil lines with black marker pen.
4. Put the pages together in a neat pile, and number them along the bottom. A coloring book with 20 pages is plenty. When it has been completely colored, you can simply make another.
5. Staple the book together along the left-hand edge of the pages. This will make the pages stay in order, and the child can flip through the book.
6. Draw a personalized, colorful picture on the front of the book. Include the name of the child in the title, such as "Bob's Coloring Book".
