Decorate The Inside Of A Travel Trailer

No matter what the outside looks like, you can decorate the inside of a travel trailer to look like home.

Whether new or vintage, large or small, decorate the inside of a travel trailer to feel like home. It is, after all, going to be your home when you are away. You do not need a lot of interior design skills to transform the space into your style and make it fit your personality. All it takes is a little bit of time and effort to turn your camper into a true vacation getaway.

Instructions

1. Paint the walls and cabinetry if needed. It is the easiest way to update any space and can be used to cover wear and tear in vintage campers.

2. Lay down new flooring. For those on a budget, peel-and-stick linoleum tiles are a cheap way to update a small space.

3. Invest in quality linens for the bedroom area. Even a few nights on an uncomfortable bed can ruin a vacation.

4. Make or buy cheery curtains to hang in addition to the standard shades that are usually found when decorating the inside of a travel trailer. Privacy is needed, especially in busy parks, but curtains are what makes it homey.

5. Reupholster the benches if needed. Use throw pillows on the rest for comfort and extra color.

6. Create covers for your bedroom-area pillows. If you are not handy with sewing, just pin your favorite fabric around existing pillows.

7. Hang up artwork and other accessories. Because of the possibility of getting jarred when moving, secure the frames on both the top and the bottom with screws to avoid having them fall off and break.

8. Buy or make shelves that have a front to hold things in place when decorating a travel trailer. For example, canisters, spice jars and other breakables should be on custom shelves that hold them in place while the camper is being moved.
