Bring back the fun feeling of summer with your Halloween costume.
Dressing as summer for Halloween is a fun excuse to break out the summer clothing and jewelry that you already miss. Depending on where you live, the weather might be too cold for just a bathing suit and flip flops, but there are certain styles you can wear without freezing. By raiding your closet for the things you just packed away, you can find your entire costume for free.
Instructions
1. Put on one of your favorite swimsuits. For a boy, these will act as your shorts. For a girl, choose a suit with straps that will show under your dress.
2. Cover up with a Hawaiian T-shirt for boys or a floral, summery dress for girls. If the weather is chilly, wear an open sweater on top so your outfit is still visible.
3. Put on a pair of flip flops. Sandals that slide on without a break between the toes can be worn with socks if the weather is chilly.
4. Accessorize with summery items, such as sunglasses, a puka shell necklace, a lei or luau necklace and any other summer-themed piece of jewelry that you own.
5. Apply bronzer to your face, arms and legs to look tan.
