Instructions
Find Modern Day Vampire Groups
1. First, check out the Meetup site. This site has a listing of all the vampire clubs and groups from around the country. Vampires.meetup.com will connect you to vampire fans everywhere from Chicago to London who range from simple Goths and enthusiasts to full fledged vamps (see Resources below).
2. Go to sanguinarius.org for another very comprehensive listing of vampire groups divided by continent (see Resources below). Be sure to read the description of the groups carefully as they are meant for "real vampires," and if you are not, you probably won't want to go and be a "donor!"
3. Are you a teen looking for goth friends? Check out the special teenvampire at meetup.com. This may be the place for you to meet people who share your interests and understand the goth movement (see Resources below)
4. Some of those sites a little too hardcore for you? Go to myspace.com and type in Vampire in a groups search to find a little less intensity. Here you are more likely to meet up with people who may share your love of the movies or lore, without having to really bite you in the neck.
5. None of these places meet your needs? Start up your own group. There are a variety of web sites, including Geocities, which allow you to create a free web page. Tell people what you want and what you enjoy and you'll have new friends in no time!
