Make a water-bottle template out of paper.
If you are teaching your children about recycling and the importance of reusing plastic water bottles, make a water-bottle template that your children can trace on a piece of card stock. They can customize their water bottle with markers, glitter glue pens and other craft supplies. Write a reminder such as "Don't forget to reuse your water bottle" or "Reuse and Recycle!" on the front of the bottle. Your children can post the paper water-bottle sign on a mirror or the refrigerator to remind them to care for the Earth.
Instructions
1. Print a blank water bottle form from a web site such as Coloring Pages Kids, Clipart Of, or Water Image. Print your water bottle on a piece of computer paper.
2. Cut out your blank water bottle and place it on a piece of thin cardboard. For example, you can use the side of an old cereal box. Trace around the water bottle with a pencil.
3. Cut out the cardboard template with scissors. Place the template on a piece of card stock. Trace the form and cut it out.
4. Decorate your water bottle with markers, crayons, colored pencils, glitter glue pens, and other craft embellishments.
