Dress Like Bono
Bono, the lead singer of U2 has been in the public eye for the past 30 years. He is the definition of cool. Why wouldn't you want to dress like Bono? His style is casual and simple and can be defined as "rock star cool," but it is also appropriate for all of his activist work. His wardrobe should be easy to emulate, no matter what your budget is. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
1. Get a pair of sunglasses. Actually, get a lot of sunglasses. Bono is never without them. He says that his eyes are very sensitive to light and that's why he wears them, but luckily they also give him that extra air of rock star mystery.
2. Buy something from Bono's clothing line. Edun, a collection Bono launched with his wife, sells top of the line clothing, with the guarantee that none of the clothes are sewn by children in sweatshops.
3. Scour department stores or places like Target, if designer duds are not in your budget.
4. Look for jeans and dark colored clothing. Bono isn't Johnny Cash, aka "The Man in Black," but even still, he sure does wear a lot of black.
5. Invest in a black leather jacket. Wear it almost as much as you'll be wearing your sunglasses. You may not want to spend a lot on this, but chances are, the more you spend, the better the quality of the jacket and the longer it will last.
6. Add some accessories, aside from just sunglasses. Bono's not afraid of a well-placed hat or a necklace and he also wears earrings in his pierced ears.
