It takes time and patience to build up any level to the maximum 99 in Runescape, and woodcutting is no exception. The best way to make it as quickly as possible is to know the best and most frequent types of wood in the Runescape world and when you can cut them.
Instructions
1. Start by cutting normal trees, since they are easily found and require only a bronze axe to cut. Continue with these trees until you reach Level 15.
2. Switch to cutting oak trees once you reach level 15. These trees produce more than one log and speed up the experience points built. Varrock is the best place to find them.
3. Move to willow trees by the time you reach Level 40. You can start cutting them at Level 30, but if you wait until Level 40, they will be easier to cut.
4. Upgrade your axe whenever you can, especially the Adamant axe at Level 31 and the Rune Axe at 41. You can get the Dragon Axe at Level 61, but you must also be a member.
5. Continue cutting willow trees if you want to reach Level 99 quickly. Willows are the most frequently found trees with the most experience points for nonmembers.
