Learn correct mistakes on your photo invitations.
Erroneous information on your photo invitations can be embarrassing for you and confusing for your invitees. And if the master version of your digital photo invitation was completed with errors on it, you may consider redoing the invitation. But with the help of some basic Windows utilities, you can correct mistakes on photo invitations and save the time required to create a new invitation from scratch.
Instructions
1. Launch Microsoft Paint. Click on the "Start" button. Type "Paint" into the Start menu's search box and click the "Paint" icon in the search results.
2. Click the program's "Paint" button and select the "Open" option from the Paint menu. Find the photo invitation and load it into Paint using the file Explorer window that appears.
3. Click the "Rectangle" button in Paint's "Shapes" section. Click the "Fill" button and select the "Solid Color" option from the Fill menu.
4. Drag the cursor across the erroneous portion of the photo invitation's text. A rectangular box will appear behind the cursor as you drag it. The box should cover the erroneous text.
5. Click the "Text" button and the "A" icon. Drag the cursor over the rectangular box to create a text box. The "Text" tab will appear at the top of the program.
6. Click inside the text box. Type the corrected text into the text box. Use the "Font" and "Colors" options, at the top of the program, to tweak the newly inserted text.
7. Click the "Home" tab. Click the "Color Picker" button in the "Tools" section of the Home tab.
8. Use the Color Picker to blend the rectangular patch's background with the original background. Click inside the text's original background.
9. Click the "Fill with color" button and click into the rectangular patch's background.
10. Return to the "Paint" button and select the "Save As" option from the Paint menu. Save the edited photo invitation.
