Get Glasses Cleaner With Vinegar in the Dishwasher


Those cloudy stains on your glassware are probably minerals, such as calcium, deposited by hard water. An effortless way to remove heavy hard water stains is to soak the glasses in white distilled vinegar, or in a solution of half vinegar and half water. The mild acid of the vinegar cuts through the minerals, leaving your glasses sparkling. To avoid hard water buildup while getting your glasses cleaner, add some vinegar to you dishwasher. Instructions


1. Fill a coffee cup with white distilled vinegar.


2. Place the coffee cup in the top rack of the dishwasher, right side up. Another option is to add 1/4 cup of vinegar to the rinse dispenser, if the dishwasher has one.


3. Fill the dishwasher with your glasses and dishes as you normally would.


4. Add your dishwasher soap as you normally would, and run the dishwasher through a complete wash cycle.
