Dracula Strikes at Halloween!

Dracula is one of the most popular costumes every Halloween when children and adults dress up like their favorite movie monsters. Dracula always seems to top the list. Fortunately, dressing up as Dracula is one of the easiest costumes to do. With a little ingenuity, you can play the part to a tee. Here is dress up as Dracula for the coming Halloween season.

Instructions

Dress up Like Dracula for Halloween - The Face

1. Purchase a pair of the fake fangs that can be found at any discount department store. Also, pick up an optional tube of fake blood. If you prefer, you may use ketchup or red eyeliner for fake blood running from the corners of your mouth.

2. Apply a thick moisturizer to clean skin as a barrier between your skin and the heavy face make up. Now apply the white face paint to the entire surface of your face. Make sure that you cover your ears, your hairline, and your neck completely. Some people prefer to use a white powder, but the face paint tends to last longer.

3. Take the black eyeliner and elevate your eyebrows into more of a upside down V-shape. This can be accomplished by adding in black above your eyebrows to give them a pointed look.

4. Put a thin layer of red or pink lipstick on your lips to accentuate your mouth and fangs. You can use a lip pencil to outline your lips to make them fuller. This will alsohelp keep the lipstick on your lips and not travel to your skin.

5. Slick your hair back with a liberal portion of hair gel or mousse. Regardless of your hairstyle, it will still give the desired effect if you slick it back. This will work for a male or female.

6. Find an old-fashioned suit to wear as Dracula. The suit must be black and if you can find a three-piece suit with a vest than you are in luck.

7. Accessorize the suit with a black tie, black shoes and white gloves. You may also add cuff links and a pocket watch for added effect.

8. Top off your Dracula outfit with a matching black cape. These can generally be found in magic supply stores as well as department stores before Halloween.

9. Apply your white makeup to your hands if you intend on removing your gloves. You do not want to walk around with a white face and tanned hands.
