Decorate For An Office Party

You can turn your next office party into a gala event simply by introducing bright, imaginative decorations into the festivities. Here are some suggestions for making your party a wow. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Bring in a little of the outdoors. Decorate with firs, holly and pine. Use the mini-potted versions if space is limited.

2. Use neutral festive colors such as gold or silver at Christmas instead of red or green. Not everyone celebrates the holidays and may feel offended if the office is decorated in typical holiday colors, characters or religious icons.

3. Decorate with edible decorations like bowls of candy. This will satisfy that holiday sweet tooth and add festive cheer to the party.

4. Host a kid's art show. Many employees have children and it will add more joy to the office if their families are included.

5. Tie bows on all the furniture. It's an inexpensive way to add color to the office. You can recycle the bows each year since the ribbons will retain their beauty for a long time.

6. Hang up strings of white or red lights to decorate the office. Avoid blinking lights or anything that may distract from the work environment.
