A group of guns with configurations similar to the Smith & Wesson 4506-1.
The Smith & Wesson 4506-1 is a semi-automatic, .45 caliber handgun manufactured from 1988 to 1999. Constructed of stainless steel, the pistol is double-action, recoil operated and has a 5 inch barrel with a magazine capacity 8 rounds. The 4506-1 came with fixed, 3-dot sights; however, adjustable sights were an available option. At 2.6 pounds, the pistol is rather heavy.
