Sesame Street" is a beloved children's show that has been educating and entertaining kids since 1969. The mere sight of the comical and colorful characters are enough to put a smile and children's face. If your little one is a fan of this classic TV show, use the characters as a theme to decorate a table for a birthday party or to turn an ordinary gathering with friends and family into something extraordinary. Instructions
1. Cover the table with a fabricate "Sesame Street" printed tablecloth, which can be purchased from most party or paper supply shops. Alternatively, you can make your own table covering by printing out images of your child's favorite "Sesame Street" characters and gluing them to the surface of a light blue or light green disposable tablecloth.
2. Cover a cube of craft foam with green paper. Print out images of your child's favorite "Sesame Street" characters and glue them to the sides of the square.
3. Print out an image of the "Sesame Street" street sign on card stock. Cut out the image and glue it to the top of a wooden dowel. Insert the end of the wooden dowel into the center of the square craft foam and place it in the center of the table.
4. Inflate a Mylar balloon that features images of "Sesame Street" characters with helium. Tie ribbon around the end of the balloon and tie the ribbon around the center of the wooden dowel of the street sign, allowing the balloon to float over the center of the table.
5. Place plush "Sesame Street" character dolls along the center of the table. These toys dolls can double as favors for children to take home, if you wish.
6. Scatter handfuls of "Sesame Street" confetti along the surface of the tabletop.
