You can connect most MP4 players to a computer system with iTunes.
Typically, Apple iTunes is used with Apple-based products, including iPhones, iPods and the iPad. However, it is possible to sync up outside MP4 video players with the media player. You aren't going to have the same features as with the Apple equipment, but you may still use iTunes in order to upload music and video files to the portable media device.
Instructions
1. Download and install the latest version of iTunes. This is a free program available at iTunes.com.
2. Plug the USB cable into the USB port on the MP4 player, then insert the other end of the cable into a USB port on the computer. Unlike when using Apple equipment, iTunes does not load automatically.
3. Select iTunes and wait for the program to load. On the side of the program screen the MP4 player is listed.
4. Select the MP4 listing. This loads a list of all the files currently saved on the player. From here you can click-and-drag audio and video files from the computer system into the open window. Once you have finished performing the upload process, click "Sync" to save the files to the player.
