Create Free Engagement Invitations

Planning a wedding is already expensive. Just the price of the printing budget alone can total hundreds--or even thousands--of dollars. Save money for the wedding invitations by finding a way to get the other invitations for free. Finding free engagement party invitations is easy. First, check with your wedding planner; he or she may know of some deals around town. If you are doing this without a wedding planner, you are very brave, and in luck. Here are a few suggestions for getting your engagement party invitations for free. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Check with local printers. Printers may give you engagement party invitations for free if you use them for your other wedding printing needs. It won't hurt to ask around, and you may even find deals that you didn't think were out there.

2. Try Netfuncards.com. This site not only offers free printable engagement invitations, you can also send them by email for a truly "green" idea that your guests may appreciate. But if you choose to print them out, this site allows you to choose a cute and whimsical card to print out without registering for the free account for their site.

3. Try Allfreeinvitations.com. This is another site that allows you to customize a predesigned engagement invitation to print out. Choose from 14 designs, with other graphics that you can incorporate into your design.

4. Try Hoover Web Design. The selection isn't as vast as allfreeinvitations.com, but there are four beautiful engagement printable invitations for free. These invitations use traditional wedding graphics such as champagne glasses, heart-shaped flowers and wedding bands.

5. Go to www.weddingclipart.com. This site's free trial offer provides access to its collection of professional-looking engagement invitations. There is a yearly fee if you choose to use the service past the trial period.

6. Use a Microsoft Office product. Microsoft Word and Publisher are great software packages to use to create your own engagement invitations. Use the pre-made designs and Microsoft clip art to add visual enhancements to your invites. You can also download other templates (created by Microsoft, vendors and users) from www.office.microsoft.com.

7. Use greeting card software. Even if you have to purchase the software, it is considerably cheaper than having the invitations professionally printed or buying them from a party store. Also, you can reuse the software for many other different occasions. Hallmark's Card Studio is a good choice for this option.
