Hawaiian Hair Styles

Hawaiian hairstyles look good on the beach.

Hair might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Hawaii, but the 50th state has its own distinctive look. Hawaiian hairstyles are designed for hot, tropical weather, but can look good anytime of year. Whether you are going to a destination wedding, a costume party or just in the market for a fresh hairstyle, find the Hawaiian do that suits you best. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Make your hair into a bun or twisted bun, perfect for cooling off in the hot weather of Hawaii. Brush your hair and rub in some product. Make a tight ponytail secured with an elastic. Twist the ponytail around the elastic and secure it in place with bobby pins. Pull the front of you hair back in sections and pin it under the bun. Pin a flower into the bun for an extra bit of Hawaiian style.

2. Style your hair into an up-sweep. Use a curling iron to curl your hair. Make your hair into ringlets by brushing it out. Pile your hair on top of your head and pin it into place. Make sure it has a messy look. Slick back the sides of your hair. As with the bun, add some flowers.

3. Use flowers to make your hair have a Hawaiian style. Make or buy a flower crown and wear it for a wedding or any event with a Hawaiian theme. Put a flower behind your ear to make any hairstyle Hawaiian. Alternatively, pin a flower to the side of your hair.
