Make A Flyer For A Graduation Party

If you plan to invite a lot of people to your graduation party, you will probably not want to go through the hassle of making up individual invitations. A graduation party flyer instead can give all of the details about your event and be mass produced in order to invite friends and family. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. First, write down all of the details that you want to include on your graduation party flyer. Highlight the name of the graduate and their achievement. Remember to include all of the basics, like where the party is being held, date, time, food and drink information. Also, if you want people to RSVP provide an email address as well as a suggested RSVP date. You may also want to consider providing the information about the actual graduation ceremony and that the "reception is to follow."

2. Choose a template for your graduation party flyer. You can create your own or use a free online template. Print Free has a graduation party flyer that you can customize with your information.

3. Make your own template if you rather not use a standard online version. In Photoshop you can incorporate your own images or clipart. Consider using images such as graduation caps and diplomas. Select a background style, font size and font type within the program to make your graduation party flyer. Choose colors that match your school's colors or a standard black and gold will be appropriate.

4. Print a test flyer. Before you make multiple versions, print out a single copy to preview how it came out. If you want color flyers, make sure that you use a color printer. Make sure you make the margins large enough if you plan to hang up the flyer at different locations.

5. Distribute the flyers. Although the party may be casual, you should still start handing out the flyers at least a couple of weeks before the event. It is also a good idea to have a discussion with the grad so that there is no confusion with who is being invited and no one is left out.
