Inserting invitations into envelopes correctly adds an elegant touch for your guests.
Invitations are one of the first steps in setting up a big event, whether it's a wedding or a birthday. Putting on the final, professional touches when assembling your invitations and envelopes is important for transmitting the event information in a clear and polished manner to your guests. No matter what type of invitation you send out, making them perfect before going to the post office will take one more challenge off of your mind while you anticipate the big day.
Instructions
1. Turn the envelope so that the flap is facing you and the addressed side is facing away from you.
2. Rotate the invitation or card so that the top of the card is facing left. Insert the invitation directly into your envelope so that when the guest opens the invitation he will be able to pull the card out and rotate it clockwise to read it.
3. Slip a response card tucked under its own envelope flap directly on top of your invitation so that it is easily seen by the receiver.
4. Seal your envelope using a damp cloth to make it easier on you while you stuff all of the envelopes.
