Make A Cupcake Liner Snowman

Cupcake liners are not just good for baking--they are also good for art!

Snowman crafts are a class tradition in winter classrooms. You can make this project with a class or at a children's party. These snowmen are entirely flat, making them ideal for wall decorations and winter themed refrigerators. You probably have all the supplies that you need already at your home.

Instructions

1. Glue two or three cupcake liners in a line to a piece of white construction paper. If the paper is big enough, use more than three. The more you use the bigger your snowman will be. Leave a little room at the top of the paper.

2. Glue two google eyes to the top cupcake liner. These will be your snowman's eyes and the top liner will be his head.

3. Use markers to decorate your snowman. Give him an orange carrot nose, coal buttons and a big smile. Draw him a big black hat and brown stick arms, if you like.

4. Design the background for your snowman. Draw trees, other snowman friends, birds or anything else that you want to be part of your winter scene.

5. Glue a layer of glitter to the bottom of the page of paper. This will be the snow. Add snow to the sky as well, or glitter your snowman to make him shine.

6. Let your project dry. This may take 20 or 30 minutes. Once dry, hang your snowman on the wall or give him to a friend.
