Hawaii Waterfall Wedding Packages

Hawaiian waterfall weddings are popular and come in a variety of packages and options.

Hawaii features a wide range of waterfall wedding experiences, ranging from simple ceremonies at popular waterfall sites to private helicopter excursions to isolated locales deep in the Hawaiian interior. Package options and prices vary just as widely, which creates opportunities for anyone seeking a memorable wedding experience in a tropical paradise. Some Hawaiian wedding planners include a range of prices, while other require you to contact them for current prices.

Pukalani Falls Weddings

Pukalani--Hawaiian for "Gateway to Heaven"--Falls Hawaii Wedding Garden on Oahu is a manicured, palatial setting featuring water gardens with a pair of brooks, exotic trees and flowers, bamboo, palms and fruit trees, along with an array of Hawaiian plants and shrubs. Parrots fly among the trees and Koi populate the garden ponds. Weddings are strictly private affairs, well away from gawkers and tourists. Pukalani Falls wedding ceremonies as of February 2011 can cost as little as $225 with a variety of photo packages from $400 to $2,000, depending on your needs. Prices are a la carte, allowing you to spend as much or as little as you desire.

Haiku Waterfall Wedding

On Maui, you can hold your wedding at Haiku Natural Waterfall Site. A private waterfall, it plunges into a pond that overlooks the ocean. The wedding site features a deck that runs to the cliff's edge above the ocean and to the waterfall pond. A permanent awning protects guests, and staff use four-wheel drive vehicles to transport guests to the wedding site. According to the operators, the best lighting for a wedding ceremony is mid-day. Due to the number of vendors involved, wedding price packages vary and you must call for current features and prices.

Remote Waterfall Wedding

Maui Me offers an exceptional wedding experience on Maui with a helicopter excursion to an isolated, secluded waterfall. The flight takes you through a narrow canyon where it lands near an extraordinary waterfall that is so remote few people ever see it. The price of the trip covers a musician, the pilot, who plays guitar and sings. However, the wedding party consists of the bride and groom, the minister and the pilot. No guests can make the trip and the price is about $1,900-per-hour for the helicopter, as of 2011.

Christian Helicopter Wedding

Kauai Christian Wedding packages in 2011 run about $4,000, which includes a minister, helicopter tour of Kauai and the flight to a private waterfall, wedding prints and video, flowers and keepsakes. A consultant is available prior to the wedding to manage details at long distance.

Waterfall Park Wedding

Another waterfall wedding site is located in the picturesque Ko'olau Mountains on a 7.5-acre garden where Queen Liliuokalani, Hawaii's last monarch, picnicked. Only 15 minutes from Waikiki, wedding planners suggest a weekday around noon as the best time for a wedding, since the park is usually quiet at that time. The package includes a Hawaiian marriage license, ceremony, limousine, professional photographer and musician, flowers, a champagne toast and other options. Prices and packages vary, although the site itself costs $1,500 in addition to the cost of the wedding, as of February 2011.
