2. Decide what size pig you will need and how many side items and drinks to have for the amount of people you know are coming to your roast. Ask everyone to bring a side item to cut down on preparation time and money.

3. Make sure you have enough tables, chairs, plates and room for everyone that has indicted they will attend. If not, rent chairs and tables for your roast from a party rental store.

4. Order a pig prepped, fully-dressed and ready to roast from a farm or company that sells meat. Some companies even deliver to any state. With some companies, you can also order any accessories you need for roasting.

5. Purchase pig roast instructions online or order a tool kit which comes with everything you need to set up the pig roast.

6. Dig the pit for your roast or set concrete blocks around the area. You should need about 48 blocks to make a roasting area that is four blocks high, four long and two wide. Make sure there is no grass or debris at the bottom of the roaster.

7. Roast your pig as you normally would or as per the instructions with your tool kit. Make sure you start your roast in plenty of time for your guests to eat. It can take up to nine hours to cook depending upon the size of your pig.
