Make Adult Bee Costumes

Costume shops are filled with ready-made costumes, but for a Halloween costume like none other, you need to create it yourself. A Bee costume lends itself to adult/child dressing or a groups of adults who decide to be a swarm for the holiday. This costume can be made at home by following a few simple instructions.

Instructions

1. Cut a hole for your head starting at the end point of the zipper of your beanbag chair. Make sure you cut to the edge of the zipper so the hole increases in size when it is unzipped. Empty all the pellets from inside. Cut out holes for your arms and a large hole at the bottom for your legs.

2. Paint medium width stripes around your beanbag chair using black fabric paint. Lay the bag on a clean surface and paint one side at a time. Wait until paint is dry before turning the bag over to finish painting.

3. Wrap the ends of two pipe cleaners around your headband to form antennas.

4. Push a yellow crafting ball onto the end of each pipe cleaner.

5. Put on your turtleneck and tights. Stuff the beanbag with newspaper and slide it over your head. Put on your antennas and your outfit is complete.
