Graduation is a special time of year
Graduation from college, high school, middle school, or preschool is a big stepping stone. Buying a gift for a graduate can be difficult. This guide will help you select the perfect gift for your graduate and let them know how proud you are of them.
Instructions
1. If the person is graduating from high school or college they have usually paid out a lot of money during their final year. Giving money or a gift card will allow them to take some of the financial strain off of their new beginning. Below are the recommended amounts per category.
College - $100 or more.
High School - $50 or more.
Middle School - $30
Elementary - $25
Preschool - $15
2. Give a graduation present based upon what the graduate would generally like. For men this would be something related to sports and encouragement to aim for new heights. For Women this would be something softer and relating to the value to aiming for new goals and encouragement.
3. Savings Bonds are great because they will add value over time. Graduation is the beginning of new goals and aspirations. A savings bond will increase in value over time and will eventually provide double the value if the graduate waits long enough. Remember to give a copy of the paper work to the students parents so they can have a back up copy just in case it gets lost or stolen.
4. Flowers are always great to give to graduates or a picture they can frame and keep around as a remembrance of the special day.
