Decorate For Bridal Shower Parties

Decorate for bridal parties depending on wedding colors and seasons.

Bridal showers are a traditional party thrown by friends or family of a bride about to be married. They is usually thrown a few weeks before the wedding and gives the bride a chance to spend time with friends while playing games. Decorating for a party such as this doesn't have to be difficult or expensive. Using less decorations will make for an elegant and classy celebration that will be sure to please any guest.

Instructions

1. Twist two streamer colors together to create a loose spiral. These colors should be the same colors as the bride's wedding or colors to match the current season. Hang in each corner of the ceiling, securing with clear tape. Secure each end with clear tape, starting in a corner. Let the center of each streamer fall while the two ends are raised.

2. Tape two balloons in each corner with the streamers and at the end of each table. Silver and white are the ideal colors as not to clash with any of the wedding's colors.

3. Hang honeycomb-paper wedding bells from the center of the ceiling in a small room or above each table and in each doorway for larger rooms. Hang a "Congratulations" banner at the main focus of the room such as the above the table where the guest of honor will be seated.

4. Place a plain white or lace tablecloth on each table and set a flowered centerpiece in the center. Sprinkle with wedding theme-shaped confetti such as bells, hearts, mini bride and grooms and champagne glasses along the length of each table. The centerpieces should reflect the current season and match the bridal party theme.Use false engagement rings as napkin rings for each silverware and plate setting.

5. Set up two separate tables, one for gifts and one for food, and place a lace or white cloth tablecloth on each one. Set a card box or wishing well on the gift table for guests to place cards or money in. Sprinkle the gift table with more wedding theme-shaped confetti.
